Bad weather in a beautiful place. St Pierre is a tiny island. A green crown of palm trees juts out of the island's imposing granite. The island is considered a snorkelling paradise and is taken on many boat trips from the nearby island of Praslin. The island is uninhabited and has been part of the Curieuse Marine National Park since 1979. While snorkelling, you will encounter many colourful reef fish and sea turtles.
...at the famous Anse Source d'Argent on the island of La Digue. The combination of the iconic granite rocks with tropical greenery and the evening light was truly impressive. Although this dream beach is one of the most visited places on the island, the number of visitors in the evening was limited. The entire island of La Digue is known for its picturesque beaches, which adorn many homes around the world as wallpaper or murals. I visited this magical place for the first time 19 years ago and am still enchanted by it today.
